Mobilizing massage

Mobilizing massage is a specialized form of massage therapy that goes beyond classic massage and integrates elements of manual therapy to specifically improve the mobility of joints and surrounding soft tissue structures.

This differentiated form of treatment combines rhythmic, passive movements with various classic and advanced massage techniques. Smooth transitions between stretching, pulling and compression techniques as well as mobilizations close to the joint, which are tailored to the individual needs of the patient, are characteristic. The technique works on the principle of progressive deep treatment, in which superficial tissue layers are first relaxed before deeper structures are treated.

The physiological effects include improving local blood flow, removing metabolic products, dissolving tissue adhesions and normalizing muscle tone. In addition, the lubricity of the fascia is increased and reflex relaxation reactions are triggered in the autonomic nervous system.

Areas of application:

  • Functional movement restrictions
  • Muscular imbalances
  • muscle tension
  • Preparation for further therapeutic measures
