Neurology
Neurological physiotherapy is a specialized treatment approach for people with diseases or injuries of the central and peripheral nervous system. Our specialized therapists work with a comprehensive understanding of neurological functions and dysfunctions to develop individual treatment concepts.
Through the targeted application of various neurophysiological treatment concepts such as Bobath, PNF or motor learning, we promote the restoration of movement functions and support neuronal plasticity — the brain's ability to establish new connections and adapt. The focus is always on the goal of regaining lost skills, optimising existing functions and achieving the greatest possible degree of independence in everyday life.
Areas of application:
- stroke and other acquired brain injuries
- multiple sclerosis
- Parkinson's disease
- Peripheral nerve lesions
- Neurological disorders such as ALS or polyneuropathy
